Please please please UAD engineers Figure this out. I do love the UAD Plugins and it would almost be worth it if the interface was dependable but unless UA can figure out what Presonus, Apogee, Motu and all the rest have, I will have to move away from the beloved UAD Plugins. I have been embarrassed in front of clients more than once. But now funding is short and I am tied to the Apollo which frankly I cannot count on.

I had an Apogee Rosetta 800 that I had to give up when I went to 64 bit and I miss that terrible, That unit too was very dependable. I have an old Firepod that I have to rely on many times when the Apollo doesn't feel like cooperating which is not the greatest interface either but it is built like a tank and completely dependable. The settings are correct and yet this thing is the most unstable and unpredictable piece of gear that I have ever had. I have the TI Firewire card running at 800. This is ridiculous, and this is pretty much been standard procedure each and every time I want to upgrade to the latest UAD software, Firmware or purchase a new plugin. After that I will have to shut down Apollo and reboot computer and it will USUALLY come up fine. Now as long as I don't bump into or turn off my Apollo it will work for a good 6 or 7 days.
